December Birthdays & Festivities

There are quit a few birthdays in December. Starting yesterday, December 15th, is my mom's birthday. My cousin Kevin's (pictured above) Birthday is Dec. 17th, my mom's second cousin's birthday is on Dec. 19th,(he lives in Canada), and the last birthday is Dec. 20th, my cousin Nathan. Amazing they were all born in December and everyother day.

For Mom's birthday we didn't do much; just had a simple day. We had waffles for breakfast, went to Starbucks, and watched the 49er game. (Sadly we lost yesterday to the Falcons)

My cousin Kevin is 3 years older than me, growing up we hung out a lot. When I came over to his house we would run around like crazy kids. He would slide down the stairs with me head first in a sleeping bag and, some times, we had his youngest sister with us who was only one, I was 4, and he was 7. Also we would make chocolate and strawberry milk. We had so much fun together. In 2014, Kevin came to my high school graduation then drove me home and we had homemade cheesecake with family. He works for AMR as an EMT, he's engaged to a wonderful girl, Vanessa. She used to work at an animal shelter. Currently she is working as a dispatcher at the Ripon Police Department. They both have come to a few of my performances while I was still dancing. They are the best cousins.

Lastly, there is just one week until Christmas, are you ready?! I am, I love Christmas. Every year I keep adding something knew to my holiday bucket list that I'd like to continue for years to come. There are still a handful of festivities that I haven't don't yet that I will start doing in years to come. Last Thursday, Dec. 12, was Ripon's Christmas Parade downtown on Main Street. My friend, Katie, came with her two boys, niece, and nephew. All of us had a fun time watching all the tractors, trucks, and dancers/kids going down the street.

This season is all about spending time with those you L O V E and creating life long memories.
