Well I put up the tree and I need to get the stockings out still. Last year we only had our stockings up. I think it has been about 3 years since we've had a tree up. We got a new one this year, it's from Home Depot and I linked it for you. I Love it so much, it will be with me for many years to come. When my mom was growing up they didn't decorate for Christmas until after the 15th because that is her birthday. Then for about 5/6 years I was super involved with the Nutcracker, we were so busy that there was no extra time to decorate. And then the last 5 years have been hit and miss, Just simple decorations.

As I mentioned I was a part of the Nutcracker, dancing has been my life for 17 years. All ballet companies during the month of December put on the production of the Nutcracker, it is probably my favorite because it's during my favorite season. Every year I looked forward to being a part of this magical ballet. I've performed in this ballet for 16 years with the same company, Central West Ballet. The first seven years I was a part of it from 2001 to 2008 we performed at Modesto High School in there theater. In 2009 the Gallo Center for the Arts opened up Downtown Modesto and we got to perform and dance on a massive stage (it felt like) to a massive audience, compared to Mo High. Some of the best memories I have made when dancing are from Nutcracker rehearsals in the studio and backstage at the theater. I joined Central West Ballet Company in 2011 at the age of 15 as a trainee. All the years before joining the company, one reason I always enjoyed this ballet was because as a little ballerina we got to dance and perform with the older company members who you would look up to. Some of whom have become great life long friends and family. I was 5 years old my first year and got the role of Marshmallow. Our costume was a white leotard tutu and our hair half up, half down in ringlets. It was so much fun!! That year I also met Wally who is now my older brother. He was in the company and was always having the best time. He enjoyed dancing, loved what he was doing and always had a blast with the children. Tomorrow, December 10, 2019, Wally and I will have known each other for 18 years. We hang out and talk all the time. He's now a dad to the cutest 2.5 year old boy who calls me Auntie Rhio and it melts my heart. Nutcracker wasn't just something I did or had to do it was also a special tradition. It was part of the Christmas Spirit and warmth that I love during this season. Because of this I have created so many amazing memories that will last a life time.

I am a huge football fan, 49ers all the way! This is also the season for football, September to February, so I couldn't let it go with out talking about it. The 49ers are 11-2 this season so far, as of yesterday. We beat the Saints 48-46. Also we've got a good shot of heading to the Super Bowl. Also out QB, Jimmy Garoppolo is amazing. I was born in San Jose and raised a 49er fan. Bleed Red and Gold. Faithful Then Faithful Now. I got the opportunity to attend my first game on November 17th vs. the Arizona Cardinals at Levi Stadium in Santa Clara, CA. This was a dream come true and such an awesome and amazing game to be at and come out winners.
